Hire Jack The Whiskey Guy if your having a event at your shop, restaurant, club or lounge.

My $225 event fee includes (up to 2-hours):

• Based on the whisky budget that you approve, I will recommend an appropriate whisky selection for the hotel to order

(I will also identify the name and contact information for the distributor of each selected whisky)*

• Event Flyer (1-page) describing the event

• Whisky Menu (usually 6-pages) describing each whisky
(1-page per each expression: tasting notes/distillery information)

• My presentation to the group (tailor to fit the circumstances of the event)

• Questions and answer before the group or one-on-one during the event

• I pour/serve the whiskies to the participants

• Optional: Use of my whisky nosing glasses for up to 80 participants
(I will charge you $8 for each broken or missing glass)

I believe that you will find it a good value as the hotels charge $75 and higher per hour
(sometimes with a 2 hour minimum) for the services of one of their bartenders (none of whom know anything about whisky… they merely serve it). My feedback has been quite positive (I answer a lot of questions) and the participants often hire me for one of their future events. FYI, I am a certified specialist of spirits having completed a course of instruction and passed a comprehensive test (94%) administered by the Society of Wine Educators (the folks that license wine sommeliers) which has developed a similar certification for spirits experts. I have several references that will vouch as to my expertise. They include restaurant or shop owners and folks that have taken my tour of the Scottish distilleries.

*If the venue will allow us to bring in our own whisky, I can buy the whisky at a discounted price and will provide an invoice for any whisky that you authorize me to purchase for your event.
